2010 FIA GT1 Testing update (Feb)

Corvette Motorsports FIA GT1 Championship teams took to the track this week in full preparation for the new season which begins in April. Mad Croc Racings C6Rs completed a problematic test this past weekend in Monteblanco Spain and quickly traveled Monday to Portimao Portugal for this weeks FIA GT Balance of Performance test in Algarve Portugal.
The teams present in Portugal are 2 Nissan GTRs from Swiss Racing Team, 1 Maserati from Vitaphone, 2 C6Rs from Mad Croc, and Ford GTs 2010 contender. Unfortunately no images or videos are allowed to be captured at this test in Portugal. Track conditions for the first half of the week were wet and damp overall. Corvette Racings Oliver Gavin took the helm of the C6R to test the cars new electronic components and engine. Thursday saw all 2010 GT1 cars being put through their paces for the first Balance of Performance issued by the FIA. However bad weather overall meant little progress for any laptimes set and would have to wait until the FIAs next Balance of Performance test. Stay tuned here for the latest news on all of our 2010 GT1 teams.
