As the Countdown to Spa approaches, Corvette Motorsport is proud to announce both its driver and content lineup for the 2008 edition. The defending champions from GMAC Phoenix Carsport will once again repeat their lineup with FIA GT regulars Mike Hezemans, Marcel Fässler, Fabrizio Gollin, and Jean-Denis Deletraz in the number 6 C6R. Pairing up in the sister car will be Uwe Alzen, Jos Menten, Robert Schlünssen, and Alex Margaritis. For the Selleslagh Racing Team (SRT) regular drivers Christophe Bouchut and Xavier Massen will be joined by Maxime Soulet and Swiss driver Christophe Pillon .

The festivities around the 24 Hours of Spa officially kick off on Wednesday 30th July with the parade to the circuit of Spa. Thursday and Friday will see the cars take to the track for free practice and qualification. In conjunction with Gigawave, Corvette Motorsport will have an exclusive standalone live onboard video stream from inside the number 6 GMAC Phoenix C6R. In the media section, we will be releasing flashbacks from the previous years at Spa including other videos leading up to the race


In a further attempt to bring the fans even closer to the action, a webcam will be set up inside the Spa garage all week starting Tuesday/Wednesday as well as live timing modules and a chat room, where you can chat with all your favorite drivers and team members during the race week.
