Luc Alphand C6R shakedown for Guillaume Moreau

Ledenon France, was the location for a shakdown for Luc Alphands new driver Guillaume Moreau.

"To be quite honest, I had never driven a GT racecar, not even a GT road car. Everything was new for me! It was different driving with a roof above my helmet.
I had everything to learn at that meeting. This outing could be described as a learning experience. It took me two runs to adapt to the car.

From the beginning, I could see that the speed of the car in the corners are completely different from that with a single seater. This C6.R is terriffic and it forgives a lot. A GT has more sub-turn, contrary to a prototype or a single-seater.

I must also learn to keep my left foot to the brake because I am more effective in inhibiting with it.

The relationship with the team is going very well. I look forward to my return to Paul Richard for two days of testing for the LMS season. The second C6R arrives tomorrow in France straight from the Pratt Miller workshop. Before testing, I will have my seat molded in order to be more comfortable in the car.
