Jeroen Bleekemolen and Peter Van der Kolk from Belgium won the main Superleague Formula HTC Dutch GT4 Championship race at Circuit Zolder driving their Callaway GT4 C6 Corvette. The starting grid included the Premier National Motorsport entries and the European GT4 Cup competitors. After a spirited fifty minute race Bleedemolen and Van der Kolk brought their Corvettte first across the line to take the victory. Der Ende (BMW M3) and Simon Knap (also BMW M3) captured second and third place podium finishes.

Phil Bastiaans started his Porsche 997 GT4 on the outside front row next to Peter van der Kolk’s
Corvette. Bastianns got the lead at the green flag and Duncan Huisman climbed from fourth starting position to second behind Bastiaans. Huisman said. "I kept the pressure on and constantly filled his mirrors in case he made some mistakes. Because this circuit is so hard on the brakes, it was difficult to pass to Phil. "

While holding his lead, Bastiaans postponed his mandatory pit stop for as long as possible. Huisman was one of the first to make a driver change when the pit lane opened. Also Corvette driver Van der Kolk visited the pits to turn his car over to Jeroen Bleekemolen. From that moment on Bleekemolen set his sights on the leader and quickly managed to pass to take the lead and the win for Corvette.

Bleekemolen and Van der Kolk took the biggest European GT4 cups home after a great victory.
Bleekemolen who won the individual sprint race on Saturday commented "My teammate did a great job. He set good times, and saved the car during his stint." "We really got a perfect pit stop and the car had good brakes and tires that let us move to the front. We really had good and fair fights during the race. This double victory, allows me to still remain a contender in the championship, though I will miss the race weekend in Assen."

The next races for the HTC Dutch GT4 Championship are 13 and 14 August at the RTL GP Masters of Formula 3 at Zandvoort.
