RACB selects PK Carsport as "Team of the Year"

PK Carsport has received an early Christmas present from the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium. The team was awarded this week with the coveted Team of the year award. This marks the second year in a row that a Corvette Motorsport team has won this accolade. Last Year the award went to the Belgian Selleslagh Racing Team.

Team owner Paul Kumpen was delighted with the achievement:

Paul Kumpen: "This is a great recognition for the team!. The boys worked hard all year round, to give themselves the best of the best car to compete with. Anthony and Mike are often of interest, I think it is important that these guys now, because it is a very important thing. Recognition, appreciation for the work of a small team with limited resources that constantly manages to stand against the worlds best. And with success! Proof that with friendship, commitment and enthusiasm, you can achieve so much. "

Anthony Kumpen: "I think it's great for our boys! I can not imagine a better team to team work with. Mike and I often say that this is the best team..one that other people also find great."

This past week, the teams engineers completed a successful Michelin Tyre test in Algarve Portugal. There, they tested and selected their 2010 tyre compounds that will be used in competition.
